Nasdaq Futures Trading Plan – May 27
Market Overview
The dip was bought once again on NQ after a sharp 400-point sell-off on Friday morning. Price is now attempting a breakout toward the top of the two-week consolidation range, with buyers eyeing 21,530.
We currently have a bullish continuation setup, with the London session closing higher than the Asia session, indicating potential for upside if support holds.
Trade Outlook
For the bullish setup to remain valid, price must hold above 21,235 on any pullback. If it does, I’ll look for longs targeting 21,460.
A lower high below 21,235 would invalidate this setup. If that occurs, I’ll shift to a bearish bias, looking for shorts targeting 21,136.
With Consumer Confidence data set to release at 10:00 AM ET, expect heightened volatility during the morning session.
Key Trade Scenarios
Bullish Scenario (Long Bias)
Setup Valid Above: 21,235
If price pulls back and holds above this level, I’ll consider long entries.
A breakout above 21,360 would confirm momentum.
Long Targets: 21,400 → 21,460 → 21,524
Bearish Scenario (Short Bias)
Setup Valid Below: 21,235
If price forms a lower high and fails to reclaim this level, I’ll look for short opportunities.
A breakdown below 21,203 confirms weakness.
